| employees to fulfill those needs. The major steps involve working one-on-one with the client, building color palettes, seeking out the perfect fabrics, deciding on furniture/carpets/accessories, manufacturing or ordering the chosen items, and delivering and installing the final products. Favorite Duties: Creating a color palette and selecting the perfect fabric samples from our fully stocked fabric room. On every project, there is a transition point when the vision inside the head becomes an actual environment that can be seen and touched. It is very rewarding to see that transitional moment happen for the client and know that I was a part of creating that reality. Inspiration: Design, art and color have always been my passions. The subtle palettes of Andrew Wyeth’s work drew me as a child, and still do today. Most recently I have been very inspired by Donald Kaufman, who is considered the country’s foremost architectural color consultant. |
